Curvilinear 95TH

Painting: Giclee prints.

This is a Oil on Canvas Painting created in the year 2017. This master piece is a cityscape painting of broadway and 95th street. The painting pays homage to the man who was stabbed and killed on the corner of 95th and broadway. The style of this piece is painterly realism. I used a round brush and applied Painterly strokes to render the painting. By hand mixing cool and warm color structures the viewer can feel the light of the oil paint. In addition there is a strong feeling of motion from the Futurism inspired figures. I applied the colors Burnt umber, Beige, Lemon yellow, Cadmium orange along with ultramarine and viridian for the trees and pavements. The 20th-century futurism characteristic to this masterpiece is a Brilliant approach to Museum-quality artwork.
